Whats something unique about wakeboarding in your country? I can have a massage asap! Our Cable CWC is only 2 1/2 years old and is one of the most well known cables in the world!

What is your favourite thing about wakeboarding?
I can’t believe I love wakeboarding and I enjoy it all… I used to surf all the time and this was always Reuben’s sport (although I did used to do a lap here and there)… I have been a spectator for so many years supporting Reuben

Where is your absolute favourite place to ride and Why?
CWC – It’s where i have learnt everything on the wakeboard. The atmosphere is family orientated (well i guess my children are there all the time so it makes it family orientated!) and everyone is stoked for anyone who rides and gives something new a go, no matter what level they are at! Also I love that there is not any chop because of the island… unless I ride behind Reuben!

Places you have traveled to for wakeboarding:
Well my travelling for my own wakeboarding has only been to CWC!!! But I having been married to Reuben Buchanan (cable comp. rider since 2000) I have travelled to many cables especially in europe -  germany, austria, hungary and of course australia

Favourite Trick:
My favourite trick I perform is a ts 540 off the kicker.
My favourite water trick to watch is the KGB.
My favourite obstacle trick is to see a stylish press.

Favourite Rider:
Takiah- Lani Buchanan- My 5 year old daughter she does bigger ollies than me now!!lol
Anyone who gets excited and encourages me and believes that I can try a new trick even when i think i can’t! Too many to list.
Steph Caller is great at pressing obstacles and she helped me get over my fear of spinning on obstacles! Something I never thought I could do!

Favourite Animal:
Can I say my husband??? lol… Reuben you animal!

Favourite Music:
Hillsong, I enjoy praise and worship music.

What are some of your thoughts on female wakeboarding at the pro level?
It’s come a long way on cable… I was there in Duisberg, Germany at the 1st IWSF Cable World Titles and there was only 6 women in the pro women… Back then not all of them were doing inverts… now the level is getting much higher… its great!
