Throwitdown.ca All Girls Wakeboard, Wakeskate and Wakesurf Clinic Tour

Canadian Pro rider Erika Langman has teamed up with rider and editor of Throwitdown.ca Ally Boothroyd, to organize an all girls wakeboard, wakeskate and wakesurf clinic tour across Ontario and Quebec.

Clinic Overview:

TID clinics are a 1-3 day long wakeboard clinics developed for girls only. There are 7 spots available per day for girls to come out on the boat, shred and learn from Ontario`s top female riders and coaches, Erika Langman and Ally Boothroyd. You will get to ride behind fully loaded wakeboard boats, demo top of the line Liquid Force boards and O’Neill vests.

For those of you who have never tried wakeboarding before; these clinics are a great way to get introduced to this super rad sport. If you’re looking to get some air, clear your first wake, learn some 180s, inverts or dial that trick you have been stuck on for awhile, come on out and get some professional instruction – trick tips go a long way! (Not to mention a boat full of cool girls who are all there to shred, pump up the tunes, do a little dance and slap some high fives.)

A Typical Day on the Water 9am – 5pm includes:

  • 3 – 4 sets each, which means a TON of water time
  • A yoga warm up in the morning to get your muscles ready to ride
  • Choose from wakeboarding, wakeskating and wakesurfing
  • Professional photography and videography which will be available online at our website throwitdown.ca
  • Wakeboard demos will be done by Erika and Ally
  • 6 Years of fully certified coaching experience, 5 years of judging experience
  • Goodie Bags! Who doesn’t love free stuff?

“I have been competing and coaching for 8 years now and I have never seen any rider progress as fast as girls do in an all girls wakeboard clinic. Having a group of girls that take over the boat, blast their favourite tunes, and encourage each other to the max is recipe for an amazing way to progress as a wakeboarder.” – Erika Langman

“Clinic days are by far my favourite days on the entire year!  They are so much fun and it’s amazing what a group of girls can accomplish in a couple of days.  It’s a whole different atmosphere. We pump each other up in a way that’s entirely no pressure. Just happy faces of girls having fun and landing new tricks.” -Ally Boothroyd
